AIM", Art Illuminates Mankind, like every
community based organization is germinated to address a specific social need. A
group of like-minded social activists, with their vision of sustainable social
development, linked their hands together for meaningful intervention to
protect the rights and safeguard the interests of the poor and underprivileged
sections of our society.
It is with this vision that AIM was established in 2003 to focus on, and study and research the folk culture, tribal art and craft, to bring the people of these tribal societies to the limelight.
The group has continued on this mission to make the world aware of tribal culture and people through various exhibitions, fairs, festivals and published papers. These backward and depressed artisan communities need to be organized towards sustainable development
The study and research is required to preserve and sustain the folk culture, and their arts, which are on the brink of extinction..
